| Our Indian Danehill filly HECARWEE won at only her second start in a race when taking out her maiden event at Mt Barker on Tuesday December 9th.
Having had a few issues to deal with in the past, there was a time when original trainer John Price and I thought that she'd never get to the track. The filly tends to "tie up" a bit and has a very dubious action, and for this reason, John suggested that we send her to a trainer who has paddock facilities where she can walk around all day. Our man south of the border Steve Wolfe at Albany got the gig and for two starts for "Wolfie", the filly has finished third and first!
She won like an odds on pop after jumping from her wide barrier and based on that performance alone which had a lot of merit in it, you'd say that there should be a few more wins in store for her down the line....
