| Well, Danish Sea finally showed her true colours today in what was her best performance since she ran second in the WA Champion Fillies Stakes as a three year old.
Dan Staeck who has only had two rides on her for two wins, (once in a trial) rode her beautifully today, not being caught in a speed battle, but easing her back happy to take a sit behind the leader, but also showing some initiative by taking off before the bend and slipping 3 lengths on them turning for home. Danish Sea did the rest and eventually went on to win by five and half lengths! |
