The Moon Day to Make WA Debut

Ex SA Stayer The Moon Day will make his Western Australian debut this week when he travels to Geraldton to contest a 1200m handicap.  His main mission on the 4.5 hour long haul north is to be a travelling buddy for his stablemate Cotton Eyed Joe who we think can win a maiden up there.  However, The Moon Day ("Buzz") is pretty fit for this stage of his preparation, and it wouldn't suprise us at all to see him sprint well fresh.  In previous campaigns, he's finished runner up twice at his first start back, so he can go allright fresh.

The Moon Days work is very good of late and we've put young apprentice Ned Holbeck on board who'll claim a hefty 4kg off his back reducing his weight to 56kg.
