With the average price of a thoroughbred yearling in WA now over $40,000, buying into a young, promising racehorse can be a costly exercise! So here’s an excellent opportunity to purchase a share in what looks like a more than decent horse-for just a fraction of the cost.

Pinch An Inch is a brown 2yo filly by FIGHTING FALCON, a striking individual and a high class racehorse, who recorded five wins all at a mile (1600 metres) in North America.

Noted for his never say die courage in head-to-head finishes and durability, he raced from two to five years of age, winning or placing in eight Group or Listed races. Ironically, one of his better performances on the racetrack was a second placing beaten half a length in the Del Mar Derby to the eventual Group One Breeder’s Cup Mile winner, Val Royal – the fastest ever Breeders Cup Mile winner!

Fighting Falcon’s progeny include Ascot winner Proud Falcon (three wins), the six time winner of $286,000 Hawkeye Mort and Manila Ice Cream who has recorded three wins up to 2400 metres. Over the past two breeding seasons, he’s covered over 110 quality mares which should see more of his progeny grace the track in the years to come.

This filly’s dam (mother) is the 3 times winning Military Plume mare Belle de Plume. Not only did we race and win with Belle de Plume, but we also race her first two progeny, Xaarphonic and the dual trial winner Milly The Filly who is very promising. Belle de Plume has now foaled a magnificent colt by Blackfriars, and is in foal to top WA stallion Bletchley Park.

Agility and a tough attitude are the trademarks of this filly we’re now syndicating.  She can turn on a threepenny bit faster than you can blink, and it doesn't matter what horse we put her with in the paddock, she shows them who’s the boss-straight away!
