What a thrill yesterday was. I always shake my head in disbelief when I see a horse at 30/1 win any race but when I see a horse win at these odds and I have an interest in it (and back it) it’s probably one of my biggest moments in a long association with the track.
Life in general is made up of 99.9% ordinary times. There is, however, one unforgettable moment in the life of any person who owns a horse, or share of one. That moment is when you see your horse pull out wide at the top of the straight and slowly but surely gather in the field to get up and win on the line. You’ll never forget that 30 seconds of your life! Well done for picking the horse Pete. Well done to Ken for the inspirational idea to put him up to 2100 metres in his third race start. I hope the rest of the syndicate members had just as big a thrill as I did.

Just wanted to say that I am extremely excited at the prospect of Have Faith In Me coming into work soon and being lucky enough to to be involved with her half sister Mexican Mist gives us all the more reason to be confident that she can run also.
